Review of the song "Stay" by the norwegian artist B. Keyler.
This is female music.
Alternative maybe, but mostly an acoustic guitar and a girl`s voice. Maybe even a steel guitar. Many would argue it`s American or Roots Rock. Some drums jump in with vim and vigor, but quickly back off to a half beat. Then some el. guitar shuffles in. A bit of lead guitar also makes it`s presence known with a quick bit of picking here and there. But the female voice of Beathe Keyler continue to go or extend the verse. The production is really clear and shows a tight band with a tight sound.
This music is on par with an Emmy Lou Harris, Juice Newton or Edie Brickell. If you like Sheryl Crow or Lucinda Williams, you`d like this for sure.
